Opportunity, Commitment, and
Support for Greater Independence
Addison Behavioral Resources (ABR) provides services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. While the majority of individuals that we serve have been diagnosed with a pervasive developmental disorder, such as autism, we also serve individuals with a variety of other diagnoses (e.g., pediatric feeding disorders, cerebral palsy, prader willi, etc.), as well as those without a formal diagnosis.
ABR serves individuals and their families throughout Ventura County, as well as, individuals attending any of the 21 School Districts located within the Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). ABR is vendored through Tri-Counties Regional Center and has a master contract with the Ventura County SELPA as a non-public agency.
In addition to providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism, we specialize in conducting functional analyses and developing function-based treatments for individuals that engage in challenging behaviors such as, self-injurious behaviors, aggression, food selectivity and food refusal, disruption, property destruction, noncompliance, enuresis, sleep difficulties and pica. Furthermore, we provide parent/caregiver/teacher/educator training in the principles of applied behavior analysis.
